The map is designed and split into 4 different terrains:
Each of these maps will consist of different types of terrains both smooth, while some contains rough, bumpy terrain and even ramps the player needs to drive off of and onto other platforms. For the first few prototypes, I was creating short levels that embody the final parts of the terrain. I did it this way so that I can understand the limits and boundaries of what is found difficult for players. At this point, I had decided to move away from the 64mx256m terrains that were recommended by Bennett Foddy and to start working on a single large map for players to drive on. The game was intended to have only one map by which players are told to drive from the bottom and to the top.
